Author: matauang Category: Film
A whole new kind of hero has just arrived in Metropolis, and she has her sights set on Power Girl's closest friend.
When an attempt at a normal night out in Metropolis very nearly ends in disaster, Omen takes it upon herself to protect as many civilians as possible with her psychic abilities. Unfortunately, as seen inPower Girl #13, this only draws the attention of another superpowered figure who has far less benevolent things in mind. The heavily armored Ejecta is set on cutting Omen's life short, and saving innocent lives is her entire reason for doing so.

Lilith Clay, aka Omen, first appeared in her Pre-Crisis incarnation in the pages of 1970's Teen Titans #25 by Robert Kanigher and Nick Cardy. At the age of thirteen, Lilith's psychic and precognitive powers began manifesting with no way for her to control them. This led to the revelation that Lilith was adopted, which drove her to seek out her biological parents at any cost. Soon enough, Lilith had made a home for herself alongside the other teenage superheroes of the Teen Titans, though she soon left their ranks to embark upon a variety of other adventures alongside individual former teammates.

Like the original Omen, the current version of the character is a member of the Teen Titans, albeit one who left the team under far darker circumstances. As it turned out, Lilith's memories of her time as a Teen Titan had been stolen away by the interdimensional demon known as Mister Twister. This left her in a vulnerable position that, tragically, led her to join the ranks of N.O.W.H.E.R.E., the organization founded by the villainous Harvest under whom Lilith used her powers to torture various prisoners and metahumans.

While Lilith was ultimately able to escape the ranks of N.O.W.H.E.R.E. and regain her memories, she has continued grappling with all the horrors of her past. Thankfully, she has found a close friend and confidant in the form of Power Girl who she can rely on to help her through even the worst of times. Omen has also found similar friendships with the likes of Natasha Irons, the niece of John Henry Irons who has taken up her uncle's old mantle as Steel.
